Publication Ethics

Authors must confirm that the manuscript is solely submitted to the Journal of the Egyptian Veterinary Medical Association and has not been previously published or considered for publication elsewhere.

All authors must have significant contributions in the manuscript and approve the final version.

Disclosure and conflict of interest:

All funding bodies must be disclosed as well as any conflict of interest. All authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations within three years of beginning the submitted work that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, their work. The manuscript must contain Acknowledgement, Author's contribution, Funding statements and Conflict of interest.

Animal Experimentation:

Circumstances relating to animal experimentation must meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals as issued by the Council for the International Organizations of Medical Sciences. They are obtainable from the following URL: https://jevma.journals.ekb.eg/

Unnecessary cruelty in animal experimentation is not acceptable. When experimental animals (All live animals considered experimental when use for the study) are used, the methods section must clearly indicate that adequate measures were taken to minimize pain or discomfort. Experiments should be carried out in accordance with the Guidelines laid down by the International Animal Ethics Committee or Institutional ethics committee and in accordance with local laws and regulations. All studies using human or animal subjects should include an explicit statement in the Material and methods section identifying the review and ethics committee approval for each study, if applicable. Editors reserve the right to reject papers if there is doubt as to whether appropriate procedures have been used.

Submission declaration:

Submission of an article implies that the work described has not been published previously (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture or academic thesis), that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere including electronically in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent of the copyright holder.

Authorship:

All the authors in a manuscript are responsible for the technical information communicated. For this reason it is necessary that all authors must read and approve the final version of the manuscript. All named authors must have made an active contribution to the conception and design and/or analysis and interpretation of the data and/or the drafting of the paper. All authors must have critically reviewed the content of their manuscript and have approved the final version submitted for publication. Participation solely in the acquisition of funding or the collection of data does not justify authorship.

It is a requirement that the corresponding author(s) have been accredited as appropriate upon submission of the manuscript. Contributors who do not qualify as authors should be mentioned under Acknowledgements.

Acknowledgements:

Under Acknowledgements please specify contributors to the article other than the authors accredited. Please also include specifications of the source of funding for the study and any potential conflict of interest if appropriate. Suppliers of materials should be named and their location (town, state/county, country) included.

Copyright:

The journal allows authors to retain the copyright of their papers and to retain publishing rights without restrictions.

 Permission:

If all or parts of previously published illustrations are used, permission must be obtained from the copyright holder concerned. It is the author's responsibility to obtain these in writing and provide copies to the Publishers.
